GROSS DESCRIPTION:
The specimen is received unfixed, labeled "right lobe of liver mass". It consists of two needle cores of soft, tan to white and heterogeneous tissue, each 2.5 cm. in length and 0.2 cm. in diameter, and five additional fragments of similar pale pink to white tissue, ranging from 0.4 to 0.5 cm. in greatest dimension.
