Radiographic Studies -- Intracranial Hemorrhage and Seizure Activity

RADIOGRAPHIC STUDIES:

A computerized tomography scan of the head revealed a left subdural hematoma (4 x 1.6 cm) with a mass effect over the frontal, parietal, and occipital lobes. Hydrocephalus with a grade III/IV left intraventricular hemorrhage was also present. The scan was also highly suspicious for an intraparenchymal hemorrhage.

A chest X-ray did not show infiltrates.
