Research Interests

The Agnihotri lab studies pediatric and adult high-grade gliomas (HGG) The lab has a focus on several topics:

  1. Contribution of RAS-MAPK and PI3K-AKT signaling in gliomas.
  2. Studying brain tumor metabolism to identify novel therapeutic vulnerabilities.
  3. Role of NF1 and NF2 tumor suppressor genes in brain tumors.
  4. Using integrated analyses to develop accurate models of high-grade gliomas to identify novel therapies.
As a result of his research, Dr. Agnihotri has gained an international reputation for his contributions to brain tumor biology especially the molecular biology of high-grade gliomas.
