GROSS DESCRIPTION:
Small portions of tissue are received in formalin for H&E evaluation and in glutaraldehyde for electron microscopy. The portion received in formalin consists of multiple irregular fragments of tan-yellow and maroon soft tissue, 0.4 x 0.2 x 0.1 cm in greatest aggregate dimensions, and two irregular fragments of white-tan trabecular bone, 0.2 cm each in greatest dimensions.
