Immunofluorescent Microscopy Findings -- Eight Year Old Boy with Skin Rash and Proteinuria



IMMUNOFLUORESCENT MICROSCOPY FINDINGS

Immunofluorescent studies reveal 3+ granular, peripheral glomerular deposits of IgA and C3 with lobular distribution, 1 to 2+ linear deposits of IgG, and 1+ granular peripheral deposits of IgM. 2 to 3+ linear deposits of fibrin are noted. Minimal granular peripheral deposits of C4 are noted. No deposits of C1q, IgD, or IgE are seen.
