GROSS DESCRIPTION:
Received in histocon transport media were two cores of light-tan tissue, measuring 0.9 and 0.6 cm in length and each measuring 0.1 cm in diameter. Also received was a portion of adipose tissue, measuring 0.6 x 0.1 x 0.1 cm. The tissue was divided for light microscopy, immunofluorescence and electron microscopy.
