IMMUNOCHEMISTRY:
In order to characterize the neoplastic infiltrate, paraffin section immunohistologic studies were performed on sections from the lymph node.
The results of some selected stains are listed below:

Kappa m-RNA ISH | Interfollicular plasma cells are polyclonal, large cells are negative |
Anti lambda | Interfollicular plasma cells are polyclonal, large cells show lambda restriction |
Lambda m-RNA ISH | Interfollicular plasma cells are polyclonal, large cells show lambda restriction |
Double kappa/lambda | Interfollicular plasma cells are polyclonal (Image 9), large cells show lambda restriction (Image 10) |
Bcl-2 | Weak staining of some large cells |
ALK | Large cells are negative |
Ki-67 | Almost 100% of large cells positive (Image 11) |
EBER-ISH | Large cells are negative |
