Final Diagnosis -- Nodular Hepatic Tuberculosis (Abdominal Pain)

FINAL DIAGNOSIS:

Nodular hepatic tuberculosis with microscopic involvement of the lungs, kidney, small intestine and colon.

Acid-fast stain demonstrates focal slender rod shaped organisms present in caseous material.

Bacteriologic cultures of the liver mass grew Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
