NATIVE LIVER (1330 GRAMS), ORTHOTOPIC LIVER TRANSPLANTATION -
A. CONFLUENT BRIDGING NECROSIS WITH SEVERE HEPATOCELLULAR
DAMAGE, MICRO- AND MICROVESICULAR STEATOSIS, AND DUCTULAR
TRANSFORMATION, CONSISTENT WITH DRUG OR TOXIN-INDUCED
HEPATIC INJURY.
B. GALLBLADDER WITH CHRONIC CHOLECYSTITIS.

ADDENDUM #1: (1 PAS/D, 1 Orcein)
The PAS/D stain confirms focal bile duct injury and is negative for alpha-1-antitrypsin globules. The orcein stain is negative for Hepatitis B surface antigen and copper-associated protein accumulation.
