Microscopic Description -- Right Upper Anterior Thigh Lesion

MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION:

Microscopic sections showed a predominantly superficial dermal lymphatic-like proliferation with minimal deep dermal extension. This irregular lymphatic like proliferation appears to originate in and extend around pre--existing vascular channel, the so-called "promontory sign". There was a minimal associated inflammatory cell infiltrate. (Image 01 and 02)
