GROSS DESCRIPTION:
In the tibial metaphysis, extending to the diaphysis, is a 3.0 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm tumor composed of sclerotic bone, white fibrous tissue and areas of hemorrhage. The cortical surface is uninvolved.
