GROSS DESCRIPTION:

At the macroscopic examination, the dura mater showed diffuse thickening from C1 to C6 (Fig. 03). Eight whitish, firmly adhered nodes at the internal face of the dura mater were found. The largest one measured 1.1 x 0.7 x 0.5 cm, three of them were bilateral and simetric and two were unilateral. The spinal cord was compressed and deformed in its antero-lateral portion by two of the bilateral tumors (Figs. 04 and 05).
