The temporal lobe mass was received as multiple tan-grey soft tissue fragments which measured 3 x 2 x 1.5 cm in aggregate. Small yellow areas of necrosis were noted grossly, measuring up to 0.3 cm. A portion of dura was also received measuring 1.2 x 0.3 x 0.1 cm.
