Clinical Services
The Clinical Virology Laboratory (CVL) provides state-of-the-art diagnostic services for human viral infections. This includes highly sensitive and specific detection of viral infections of the respiratory and GI tract, urogenital system, CNS and blood. For more information, visit the

- CDC influenza vaccine efficacy study
- Assessment of herpesvirus infections in organ transplant recipients
- One of the longest-running NIH studies of the natural history of HIV/AIDS
