Clinical Expertise

My clinical expertise is in liver pathology including inflammatory (native / allograft) and neoplastic liver and bile duct diseases. I have particular interest in cholangiocarcinomas and mixed/biphenotypic primary liver tumors.

Research Interests

  • Study of outcomes of liver transplantation including antibody mediated injury and its long term effects.
  • Morphologic changes of alcoholic hepatitis: correlating morphologic changes to extent of portal hypertension and outcome.
  • Targets for immune-check point inhibition in cholangiocarcinomas.
