Dr. Gibson's research interests involve further characterizing hematopoietic neoplasms using a multiparameter approach including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, cytogenetics, and molecular studies. Dr. Gibson is leading multiple multiparameter studies of chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma, leading a study evaluating novel immunohistochemical stains in B-cell lymphoma, leading a multiparameter study investigating mantle cell lymphoma, and leading a multiparameter study of post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders. Some of her collaborators include Steven Swerdlow (Hematopathology), Nidhi Aggarwal(Hematopathology), Grant Bullock (Hematopathology), Liron Pantanowitz (Cytology), Jennifer Picarsic (Pediatric Pathology), and Urvashi Surti (Cytogenetics).
