Research Interests:

Dr. Rao is interested in cytogenetics, immunohistochemical and molecular analysis of bone and soft tissue tumors and melanoma. She is the reference pathologist for the melanoma center at UPCI, and pathology co-chair for the Melanoma section of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group .
