Research Interests:
Dr. Swerdlow's research interests lie in the use of a multiparameter approach to studying lymphoid proliferations. This currently involves using histopathology, immunophenotypic, cytogenetic and molecular studies to investigate post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders, varied types of extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphomas of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue type, cutaneous lymphomas, splenic lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma.
