Clinical ExpertiseI have several areas of clinical interest, particularly non-gynecologic cytology with emphasis on pancreatic and thyroid cytology; musculoskeletal/orthopedic pathology with a focus on bone and soft tissue neoplasia; and gastrointestinal pathology with interest in pancreatic surgical pathology.
Research ExpertiseMy research interests are as broad as my clinical interests and I have been fortunate to collaborate with several outstanding individuals. Translational studies with application of tumor markers, molecular testing and targeting gene rearrangements in thyroid neoplasia, pancreatic/biliary neoplasia and soft tissue tumors are active areas of current research.
