Research Interests:
Dr. Rabin's research interests are in determining the mechanisms of interaction between the central nervous system and the immune system. It has been shown that the hormonal response to various affective states modifies immune system function with a subsequent predisposition to infectious diseases and possible autoimmune diseases and malignancy. Studies are being performed in humans, non-human primates, and rodents.
