Research Interests:

Dr. Jaffe is interested in the histiocytic disorders of childhood, Langerhans' cell histiocytosis and related dendritic cell disorders, familial and acquired hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, Rosai-Dorfman disease and juvenile xanthogranuloma. A consultation review service is offered. Dr. Jaffe in on the scientific committee of the Histiocyte Society and the steering committee of Nikolas Symposium for the Histiocytoses. . The pathology of pediatric transplantation, liver and small bowel and liver diseases of childhood are other interests.
