Research Interests:

Dr. Galambos' major interest focuses on the developmental biology of lung and related neonatal/childhood lung disorders. He also studies the regulation of angiogenesis /lymphangiogenesis in normal and diseased tissues especially in childhood vascular tumors and malformations. In addition, he investigates the mechanisms of antibody-mediated rejection in pediatric heart transplant patients. Dr. Galambos is an advanced case reviewer for the Children Interstitial Lung Disease Research Cooperative established by the Rare Lung Disease Foundation Consortium.
