Research Interests:

Dr. Contis' interests are in clinical hematopathology, specifically in the evaluation of adult and pediatric peripheral blood and bone marrow specimens. She is also interested in hematology laboratory management, archival whole slide imaging of peripheral blood and bone marrow specimens and the implementation of newer testing and instrumentation in the hematology laboratories. She is an active member of the Hematology and Clinical Microscopy Resource Committee of the College of American Pathologists.
