|Wen-Wei Chung, M.D., Ph.D. is a second year pathology resident. His past research interests included roles of neural cell adhesion molecules in brain development and neurooncology, etiology and pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, high dose gamma irradiation effect of brain tumor cells, and oncogenesis of cancers in gastrointestinal tract and experimental therapeutic effects of Chinese herbs on liver cancer. His current interests include erythropietin effects, use of the World Wide Web for continuing medical education, and online pathology education and telepathology consultation. He is pursuing a career in surgical pathology with subspecialty interests in informatics, neuropathology, and cancer pathology.
