The Division of Molecular Diagnostics collaborates with CLSI and PERF

The University of Pittsburgh Medical
Center is a participant in the Reference Laboratory Alliance (RLA), a wholly
owned subsidiary of the Institute for Transfusion Medicine that offers
laboratory and related services formerly provided by Central Blood Bank, and
administers and markets services provided by major reference laboratories,
including the UPMC, Magee-Womens Hospital, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh,
Allegheny General Hospital, and other laboratories supervised by the Pathology
Education and Research Foundation.
