Pediatric Pathology Services The Department of Pathology at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh has five staff pathologists most with certification of special competence in Pediatric Pathology, a neuropathologist, and a pediatric microbiologist. The interests of the staff cover all areas of pediatric diagnostic pathology, and a range of special procedures applicable to pediatric surgical pathology is offered. Special handling is required for some of the procedures, so you are advised to call ahead for particulars.
