Anatomic Pathology Services Anatomic Pathology services at the University of Pittsburgh are oriented around a Center of Excellence model with diagnostic pathologists focused on specific organs of interest. These interests cover all areas of Anatomic Pathology, including Neuropathology, Transplantation Pathology, and Cytopathology. Associated with these consultants are specialized technical services providing immunohistochemistry, electron microscopy, in situ hybridization, molecular anatomic pathology, array comparative genomic hybridization, and specialized histochemistry particularly focused on neuromuscular disorders.
