Research Project Information

My project focuses on cellular therapies for age-related pathologies. In addition, we are exploring the hypothesis that aging partially results from a decrease in the quality of an adult's stem cells. In other words, one reason we age may be because our stem cells become less and less able to regenerate our tissues. We are exploring this hypothesis with several progeric mouse models (models of premature aging). p>
