Radiology -- Lung Mass

RADIOLOGY:

Routine chest X-ray revealed a lobulated subpleural left upper lobe mass. Computed tomography scan of his chest demonstrated four nodular lesions within the peripheral aspect of the left upper lobe, the largest measuring 3x3 cm. A small left pleural effusion was also noted, however, no adenopathy was identified within the axillary regions, mediastinum, or hilar regions. No evidence of adenopathy or abnormal masses was seen on abdominal computed tomography scan. Computed tomography guided fine needle aspiration of the left upper lobe mass was performed.
