Case 89 -- Lung Mass

PATIENT HISTORY:

The patient is a 59 year-old male status post orthotopic liver transplant in 6/93 secondary to HCV now with increasing LFTs and weight loss admitted for percutaneous liver biopsy. Patient resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and has a 40 pack-year smoking history.

His vital signs were stable and he was afebrile. The lungs were clear bilaterally and the heart had a regular rate and rhythm. His abdomen was soft, nontender, nondistended with active bowel sounds. No adenopathy was noted.
