Microscopic Description -- coccygeal mass

MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION:

The mass is composed of multiple fairly well-circumscribed lobules of small round to spindled, moderately pleomorphic cells with prominent vacuolation in a predominantly myxoid, acellular surrounding stroma displaying focal areas with a chondroid appearance. Staining for cytokeratin AE 1/3 is strongly positive within tumor cells; stains for S100 show light diffuse positivity in the tumor cells.
