Microscopic Description -- Pain in Lower Thigh


MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION:

The tumor is characterized by pleomorphic, malignant cells that are producing osteoid. The osteoid formed displays a lace like filigree pattern and does not have osteoblastic rimming. The atypical cells have prominent nucleoli and numerous mitotic figures are present. The stromal component is fibroblastic in nature.
