Case 434 -- Multiple erythematous plaques

PATIENT PRESENTATION:

28-year-old male with erythematous pruritic plaques with mild scales for a month, distributed over his left forearm, scrotum, left side waist and scalp (with alopecia).

MICROSCOPIC EXAM:

Figures 1 to 5.

IMMUNOSTAINS:

Figures (CD20, CD3, CD4, CD30). ALK1 immunostain is negative.

MOLECULAR ONCOLOGY:

T-cell receptor gamma chain gene rearrangement is detected by Polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
