Final Diagnosis -- metastatic poorly differentiated squamous carcinoma (enlarged left inguinal lymph node)

FINAL DIAGNOSIS:

POORLY DIFFERENTIATED CARCINOMA CONSISTENT WITH POORLY DIFFERENTIATED SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA. (See comment.)
Comment:

The tumor cells have extensively replaced the lymph node. Special stains were performed. The tumor cells show focal positive reaction with cytokeratin. Other special stains, including Cam 5.2, HMB45, LCA, CEA monoclonal, CA125, Synaptophysin, HCG, LeuM1, S100, and PLAP, are all negative. The differential diagnosis in this case could include cloacogenic carcinoma of the anal canal as well as squamous cell carcinoma of the skin, vulva, vagina or cervix.
