MICROSCOPIC DESCRIPTION:
Microscopical examination reveals a mass comprised of nests of loose non-keratinizing epithelium ("stellate reticulum") bounded by palisading closely packed monomorphic columnar epithelial cells within a loose fibrous stroma. Mitotic figures are not evident.
