Flow Cytometric Immunophenotyping Studies -- Macrocytic Anemia


FLOW CYTOMETRIC IMMUNOPHENOTYPIC STUDIES:

Flow cytometric immunophenotypic studies were performed on bone marrow and one region was analyzed. The majority of the analyzed cells were myeloid lineage blasts which expressed CD34 and CD13,33 (Figure 1) along with weak CD7 (Figure 2). Neither cytoplasmic myeloperoxidase (Figure 3) nor terminal deoxyribonucleotide transferase (Figure 4) were detected. Approximately 10% of the cells appeared to express the megakaryocytic marker CD61 (Figure 5).
